I remember first hearing about The God Machine from a friend late 2009 who was showing me his comic collection and among them was the 48-page preview book. Several years later, I was driving between states, about a month from now, I decided to take a break from the several hour drive by checking out the Barnes and Noble bookstore that was nearby. Perusing through the shelves, I noticed the cover of The God Machine Graphic Novel and was immediately drawn to it. I started reading the first few pages and remembered my friend introducing it to me. It’s cool that even after 3 years I remembered the distinct art style. I bought it and it currently has place on my bookshelf as one of my favorite graphic novels. I love the ebb and flow of your story and the depth you’ve placed in your characters psychologically. The full color pages are simply gorgeous. Chandra, thanks for your work and I can’t wait for the release of the next volume! Hopefully I’ll be able to get it online when you release it since I’ll be stationed in Japan for a couple years. Cheers!

I was walking around the comic section of Barnes and Noble the other day and I saw this book on the shelf. The cover caught my eye because the art was so beautiful. As I paged through and saw every page of that art I knew I had to buy it.

I just finished reading it and I believe that it is at the top of my list, right next to Sandman, as one of the most visually brilliant comics I’ve ever read. I might also say that it is one of the most well written comics I’ve read in several years. The story is intriguing and the characters have so much depth. I can’t wait for the next volume.

I remember a really good picture of Mr. Woody Allen from one of your previous sites. I’ve followed you for quite a few years now and there’s a couple of other ones I miss here as well. The one of Guy and Andrew in a really dark cafe with a picture of Good God and Evil God in the background is one of my favorites:) Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for the next volume of The God Machine.

Forever in love with this series. I’m even getting others addicted to this book. I seriously cannot wait for the second book, I’m so psyched about it. Limbo God amuses me so~ ^.^

I just picked up The God Machine today and I must say, absolutely fantastic work. Art that compliments a dark, yet somewhat funny story; love it. I can’t wait for the 2nd volume, just thank you it actually helped me a little with my own depression.
